In August 2015, Falah Growth Fund (hereinafter the Fund) successfully exited from the investment in Karaganda Enegotcenter LLP (hereinafter the Company). The Fund's investment proceeds were channeled to expand the energy generating capacity of the Karaganda CHP-3 (combined heat and power plant).

As of today the Company has almost completed the construction works at CHP-3, which will increase the generation of electric power to 120MW and the total installed capacity to over 700 MW. The modernization of this facility will create employment, reduce  deficit of electricity and will positively influence the regional economy.
